Sick Day

Everyone in my office is sick, and now me. Today I stayed home and was very bored. I should have been knitting, but didn't feel like it. I did get some photos of my care taker though...

Rest In Peace

My dog McKenzie passed away on May 26th from congestive heart failure. He was my best pal and knitting buddy and I still can't believe he is gone. I still think about him every day.




The next morning I woke up and it seemed so quiet and empty in the house. I decided to take a trip to PAWS. The dogs there seemed nice but too large for the condo. On my way out I asked about a dog whose paper work was missing, which meant someone was interested in adopting. They told me a family wanted to visit with her, but were currently with another dog. They told my I could visit with her as people can't put dogs on reserve. I fell in love with her! Her name was originally Betty, but since I have a friend with that name, I changed it to Gracie. She is 6 months old and a handful of energy!
