Sleeves

I need some advice. I am designing the sweater I am knitting and I am thinking of knitting the front and back together and then picking up stitches to knit the sleeves. Are there any draw backs to this? I just think it would be easier than knitting sleeves seperately. I hope to post photos tomorrow.

I have been knitting, in fact I have the front and back of a sweater I am designing finished and will be sewing them together this weekend. Then I will just have the sleeves and neck to go. I hope to have it finished before the weather gets cold. Photos will be coming soon.
