Finally a Finished Sock!

I finally finished one of the Lithuanian Amber Socks from Nancy Bush's Folk Socks book. It still needs to be blocked, but I am happy with the results. I will cast on for the second sock tonight and knit until I run out of yarn. Then I will need to make a trip to my LYS and get some more. These really are thick socks and won't be worn until next winter. I always seem to finish my winter items just as the weather warms up.

Some items I want to knit in the future are the Flower Basket Shawl, Banff and Clapotis. I need to find a job soon so that I can get started on these projects. I still haven't heard anything about the job I interviewed with twice this week. I am hoping no news is good news.
