Scott's Sweater

I have decided to finish one of my UFOs that I started last year, but didn't get very far. I have been wanting to design sweaters of my own, I would like to think that I am creative. I am knitting Scott a sweater basing the pattern from the Knitter's Handy Book of Patterns by Ann Budd. I am currently working on the back of the sweater, and haven't decided what I am going to do with the front. I am thinking of putting a cable down the middle. I usually don't like using acrylic yarns, but Scott does his own washing and I would just be sick if he put a wool sweater in the washing machine. So, I have chosen to use Encore so that it can be machine washed. I am now in a frantic hurry to get it done before sweater wearing season is over. If only I didn't have to work!
